About teer.club
teer.club is an independent digital sports documentation network and statistical probability platform dedicated to traditional indigenous archery in Meghalaya, Assam, and the greater North-Eastern states of India.
Our Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to bring transparency, historical archival integrity, and millisecond-level speed to traditional indigenous archery results. We observe, record, and preserve traditional sporting events that have taken place in the Khasi Hills for generations, making them accessible to cultural enthusiasts, sports historians, and statistical researchers worldwide.
Cultural Heritage of Teer
Teer (archery) is rooted deeply in the folklore and warrior traditions of the Khasi people. Regulated under the state statutory framework of the Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax Act, the sport is governed by registered archery clubs such as the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) at Polo Ground, Shillong.
How Archery Winning Numbers Are Decided
In official traditional archery competitions held Monday through Saturday:
- First Round (F/R): Licensed master archers shoot 50 arrows each at a cylindrical cane target (typically 30 archers shooting simultaneously) within a strict time limit.
- Second Round (S/R): Archers shoot 20 to 30 arrows each at the target during the late afternoon session.
- Arrow Counting & Number Determination: After arrows stop flying, official counter officials publicly count the total arrows embedded in the cane cylinder. The last two digits of the total hit count constitute the official winning number for that round. For example, if 748 arrows hit the target, the declared result is 48.
Zero-Delay Digital Infrastructure
Unlike traditional websites that rely on slow page reloads and third-party aggregation, teer.club is built on modern distributed WebSockets and in-memory caching. When official ground tallies are certified at Polo Ground, Shillong or Guwahati, numbers are broadcast directly to connected clients in under 50 milliseconds.
teer.club is an independent news reporting, statistical modeling, and historical research portal. We do not conduct, host, promote, or accept wagers or bets of any kind. No financial transactions or betting slips are issued on this website. Our platform exists solely for cultural sports journalism and statistical analysis.
